Hole 12 - 328m Par 4
This short but dynamic par 4 is a 90 degree dogleg left which curves around and over the Club Lake.
Long hitters may be tempted to hit directly across the water and reach
the gree in one. Options are plentiful for less Herculean types,
bearing in mind that the greater the risk, the greater the reward
Hole 11 - 140m Par 3
Take a moment to enjoy the superb view fromt he hillside tees, which overlook the
green-site beyond the Club Lake and mountains in the distance.
Accuracy and good distance judgment are needed to make the putting surface,
avoiding the network of greenside bunkers.
Hole 13 - 508m par 5
This long par 5 offers a wide fairway running adjacent to the East Lake on the left.
A good drive followed by a well-placed second shot will open up the approach to the green,
which is fringed by water on the left.
Hole 10 - 380m par 4
This mild dogleg left looks menacing due to the close proximity of the Club Lake on the left,
but the fairway is wide and receptive enough to accommodate safe play from tees.
The approach has to be well struck to reach the well-bunkered green
Hole 18 - 511m Par 5
From the tees set on the same peninsula as the 17th green, golfers have to select a
carry-line across the West Lake, either left or right of a large tree on the opposite bank.
A good drive across as much water as possible may open up the possibility of reaching the green in two.
Hole 17 - 175m par 3
This enchanting par 3 is also Clearwater's toughest one-shotter. From the elevated
tees, golfers are confronted with a nervy tee shot across a protrusion of
the West Lake to the broad green, which sits on a little peninsula.
Hole 14 - 384m Par 4
This sweeping par 4 features a split-level fairway,
which flirts with the waters of the
South lake on its left edge. Good tactical play emphasizing placement rather than
length is the key to a good result. Drives hit too far left will bring a
protrusion of the lake directly into play on the approach.
Hole 16 - 402m Par 4
This classic dogleg left, which curves almost 90 degrees around the West Lake,
opitomizes the risk-rewar equation. Drives played awway from the water will require a
long second shot to the large green, while those who take the inside
line directly across water will be rewarded with a short approach.
Hole 15 - 387m Par 4
This mid-length par 4 plays in a straight line from tees set within a pretty grove of
matured trees. The enormous bunker on the right entices the golfer
to take on the challenge of the carry and reap the rewards of a short iron to a narrrow, well protected green.
